My Art On Walls

Welcome

Ken Kay, an artist & landscape architect living and painting in San Francisco. My focus is on landscape and nature’s endless forms. I paint almost every day.

My Art Studio 430 is wonderful, and I hope you enjoy my virtual paintings. One day, you may be inspired to visit my studio or purchase paintings online.

My Background

As an artist and landscape architect. I enjoy a life of creativity. I attended the University of Hartford in Connecticut in the early 70s to study art. Then my path of creativity shifted to becoming a professional landscape architect. Currently, I am a full-time artist with a studio here in San Francisco. Loving every day!

Medium

I approach each blank canvas or blank piece of paper without any preconceived intentions.

When I create, it always starts with fresh ideas that manifest in their own individual style and character. I mostly paint with acrylics.

Inspiration

As a landscape architect in San Francisco for five decades, nature and environmental patterns have greatly inspired my work. I enjoy creating virtual landscapes that embody the multitude of geometric patterns that occur in the natural world.
